Milton Montessori School Curriculum

At Milton Montessori, we follow the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. We provide our students a mixed age classroom environment where academic excellence, individualized curriculum, grace and courtesy, and a child’s natural curiosity work together to educate the whole child.

We implement the Montessori Method by including areas of study such as the following in our curriculum: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Science, Language, History and Geography, Music, Art, and more.

Our Montessori teachers have over forty years of combined experience, and they are dedicated educators with a love and understanding of the Montessori Method.

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our Montessori Curriculum then feel free to contact us today.

  • Infant Curriculum

    Infant

Our infant program nurtures the sense of trust and security in each child. And that trust and security is developed in an environment where people respond attentively to the infants needs to be loved and accepted.

  • Toddler Curriculum

    Toddler

Our classrooms are designed to meet the independent and curious nature of toddler, allowing them to freely explore in a beautiful and safe environment.

  • Primary Curriculum

    Primary

In our Primary classrooms, children learn by doing. The prepared environment is rich with materials that build and strengthen: independence, order and concentration. The Primary students work at an individual pace moving from concrete to abstract work.

  • Elementary Curriculum

    Elementary

Our lower elementary program is a mixed age community of first through third grade children. This thoughtfully prepared environment has been created with purpose to nurture curiosity and encourage independent learning.
